Vegan MoFo Day 5: Double the babies! Double the fun!

On Fridays, we babysit a toddler friend of ours. You'll forgive me for not explaining much today in words-- I am really super exhausted. Here are pictures of what we ate, though, and of course, everything's vegan!

The Emperor didn't eat a lot today... he had a lot of fruit at the start of the day and then really fizzled out from there. He nursed a ton too, so maybe that's why.

Anyway, on to the pictures!

Requisite apple picture!! That's apple 1 of 2 for the day.

Grapes!

Oatmeal! With just a pinch of nutmegs.

Banana! Did I mention we had a lot of fruit this morning?

Our lunch... cheezy whole wheat shells with broccoli.

Sake!

Sake! ... I mean... Josh and his gigantic frying pan.

Tofu and brussels sprouts in a sake-miso marinade.

And the same, on top of a bed of brown rice.

Wow...after an entire day of two toddlers I'd just drink the bottle of sake rather than cooking with it. :) The tofu and brussels do look fabulous!

Heh heh, most of the sake was from this super-cheap 2-liter CARTON OF SAKE from the Japanese supermarket. We drank the good stuff.

whoa, the tofu & brussels in sake-miso looks incredible. You two are like my culinary heros! With a baby on the scene, nonetheless! I love josh's giant pan. What fun!!

New to your post--but when I saw your comment on Vegan Eats & Treats and saw your blog name I couldn't resist leaving a comment. Coldandsleepy is me most of the time! But that morphs into warmandsleeping sooner or later.
