Lazy dinner & scribble snowmen (Celebration #6)

Guys, I went to the doctor AGAIN today. I had a normally scheduled appointment with my OB that both she and the Urgent Care doctor wanted me to keep and said appointment revealed some strange stuff and led to yet another blood draw. (Who needs acupuncture when you've got doctors like this?!) Anyway, long story short, we didn't get home until pretty late and needed an easy dinner and an easy celebration.

For dinner we had baba ganoush & hummus from the store with some whole wheat pita. You can tell I am feeling out of sorts because I didn't even cut up any veggies to go with it. Oy.

After dinner, we had our celebration for the day: decorating some snowman cut-outs that we got at the craft store this past weekend. Here's the finished product:

Scribble Snowmen

The Emperor is bizarrely obsessed with "Frosty 'Noman" right now and was very very excited to see these. He seemed perplexed by my suggestion that we draw on them though and you can see that I did most of the decorating. He assigned the names, though. I just wrote them. (He told me his name is spelled G R E, which is pretty close to the whole thing. What are they teaching him at preschool?!) I think it's humorous that he scribbled out the faces of both Daddy and Mommy 'Noman but Grey 'Noman remains intact.

I think I'm going to hang up our little crafts somewhere in the house for the holiday season... perhaps on the door between the living room and the kitchen. I think he would get a kick out of seeing them all together. He has been carrying those Christmas trees we made the other day around the house.

Anyhow, that's all for today. I leave you with the Emperor's most recent self-portrait, flattering as always:
